Children’s Ministry: Kidz View Host

The Large Group Leader, with energy and enthusiasm, welcomes the entire group of K-5th grade students and extends kids’ learning of each weekly Bible lesson through lesson introductions, wrap ups, and group games. Essential Skills & Responsibilities:

• Communication-interpersonal skills with parents and children
• Prepared-comes ready and prayed up to lead the week’s lesson
• Facilitator-coordinate team efforts with MVCC Kidz Small Group Leaders
• Enjoys elementary age children
• Punctuality
• Attend volunteer trainings

Time Requirements:  4 hours, 1 Sunday per month Upon the completion of training and background check, Large Group Leader will utilize an hour during the week to prepare themselves for Sunday’s lesson. Then, on Sundays, the Large Group Leader will check in and be in the Student Bay no later than 30 minutes prior to each service. The Large Group Leader will then lead all three services. The Large Group Leader will remain in the room until the last child has been picked up by a parent.
