About Connection Center Team (Culpeper)
As a Connection Center host, you play a vital role in shaping a guest’s final impression of Mountain View. Positioned at the Worship Center exit from the last song until the room is cleared, you’re the friendly face who offers a warm goodbye and a chance to connect.
By receiving Connect Cards, distributing welcome gifts, and answering questions, you help first time guests feel seen, valued, and encouraged to take their next step. Your presence can turn a visit into a meaningful connection—and that makes all the difference.
Essential Characteristics of a Connection Center Host
- Active Member of MVCC
- Warm and Welcoming
- Comfortable engaging in conversation and answering questions
- Attentive to the needs of new visitors and returning guests
- Familiar with church ministries, events, and resources
- Reliable and consistent in attendance and service
Time Requirements: You can serve in this ministry for approximately 30 minutes at the end of the service you already plan to attend one or more Sundays per month!
